Summer Rose Castillo
Summer is the leading voiceover for PBS’s new animation Alma’s way, in which Summer plays Alma. With no prior experience as a voice actor she booked such an amazing role. Summer starred in her first on camera film as Elaine, in the indie short Brownsville Bred, directed by Elaine Del Valle. It debuted at the 2022 SXSW film festival and won an award for Best Audience. Summer recently won an award for best voice over actor for Alma’s Way from the Imagen Foundation.

Giovonnie Samuels is an actress, singer, dancer, and speaker. This San Diego native has had an impressive career in TV and film for over 20-plus years. She now uses her passion for the industry to help others and shares her story of being a child star and all that comes with it.
